It has been just over a month since our wedding in Mijas, and we have finally settled down into married life, after literally walking on air since the big day.

We have both tried to write this letter many times but found it so hard to put into words just how much we appreciate all that you did for us in the preparation and planning of our wedding.

From the outset we both brought our laid back approach to the table and you managed to keep us moving and motivated and right up until the morning of the wedding we couldn’t have needed anyone more.

You talked us through each and every detail, from venues to paper work and on one occasion even gave career advice, which we are pretty sure is probably a first, whilst planning a wedding.

Your thorough planning and attention to detail meant that we always had a plan and a timescale, always feeling safe in your hands and confident that the outcome would be exactly as you said it would be.

On the day itself we could have asked for no more, our guests felt at ease with you, and have since commented that you truly are worth your weight in gold, you had even the most unruly guest in check, and when it came to the reception and the journey we had travelled together, we not only needed you there with us but wanted you there as our guest and friend.

When it came to saying goodbye we both did so with heavy hearts as we will miss the e-mails, the Skype’s and the phone calls, we have both come to see you as a friend who we hope we can keep in contact with as time goes by.
