James wanted his bride to have the perfect, unforgettable wedding. Mairead wrote me their story, so here it is!

“We met in a disco called Silence in Dundalk almost 9 years ago and you could say that was it for us! The proposal happened in the beautiful Marbella the 1st day we actually met Wendy from Marbella Marriages. Obviously I knew we were getting engaged as I had picked my ring in June, but was not expecting it at all that Saturday night.

We headed for Orange Square and went to the Church where we thought we would love to get married. Heading back outside and I just looked over and James was down on one knee beside the waterfall so you can only imagine how happy I was at that stage.

At that stage when it eventually sank in we began the planning of our fabulous wedding.

We always knew we wanted to get married abroad for the simple reason we wanted a small intimate wedding with all our family and friends with us but obviously knowing some could not make it which was a bit sad on the day but we can relive it all with them when we get our DVD.

From start to finish we honestly couldn’t of asked for a better 11 months in planning our wedding. Wendy and Karen outdid themselves with our wedding. From the venue to every minor detail of our wedding, the food was outstanding we didn’t have to worry about one thing. They made planning our special day so so easy and i would love to do it all again. Probably the best thing that stands out for me has to be the venue and the detail that Marbella Marriages team put into the decor, everything I asked for I got, the venue definitely took our breath away as the guests also.
